New Racing & Combat Modes

Horizon Play introduces several fresh ways to race and compete:

• Touge Showdown – Inspired by Japanese mountain racing, this 1v1 mode features five winding routes. It’s perfect for players who love tight, technical driving. Races are separate from main festival progression, so you can dive in anytime.
• Spec Racing Championships – Everyone drives the same car with locked upgrades and tuning. No meta builds, no cheating the system—just pure driving skill.
• Hide & Seek – Returning from FH5, this cat-and-mouse mode now launches day one. Players can either hide or hunt, giving a fun break from racing.
• Stunt Party – An updated version of “Forzathon Live,” these open-world group events are bigger, better, and full of stunts.

Seamless Open-World Activities

One of Horizon Play’s highlights is jumping straight into action without menus or load screens:

• Time Attack Circuits – Drive onto a permanent track anywhere in Japan, and your lap timer starts instantly. Compete against real-player ghost cars or climb the global leaderboard.
• Drag Meets – Three open-world drag strips support up to 12 players, complete with synchronized countdown lights.
• Car Meets – Visit social hubs like Daikoku Parking Area to inspect other players’ builds, download tunes, or buy stock versions of cars you like.

Creative & Social Features

Horizon Play isn’t just racing—it’s also social and creative:

• Horizon CoLab – Build events with up to 12 players in real time. Place ramps, obstacles, and checkpoints anywhere on the open world map.
• Customizable Garages & Estate – Fully decorate your garages and mountain estate to showcase your collection to visiting friends.
• AutoDrive – A new accessibility feature lets the AI drive your car while you enjoy the scenery of Japan.
