How do you tell a good battery supplier from a bad one before you buy?

Last week my neighbour told me a long story about buying a battery from a shop that closed down two months later, and he could not claim his warranty at all. That really stuck with me, because my Toyota Fortuner is due for a new battery soon and I do not want to be in his place. The battery is about three and a half years old, and the engine has been a little slow in the mornings after sitting in the sun outside my building. I started looking around for a http://www.vartabatterydubai.ae, but every page used the same words, best price, original product, fast service, so I could not tell who is honest. What I want to know is how you check a supplier before you pay. Do you look for a proper shop address, or ask to see the battery box and the date sticker first? Should the warranty be written on the receipt with the shop name and the date, and does it still count if the shop changes its name later? Is it a bad sign if the price is much lower than other places? I also wonder if a good supplier tests the old battery and the charging system first, or if that is just a way to sell more. Another question is the fitting. Is it normally free, and does the car need a reset afterward? If you found a supplier you trust, please tell me how you picked them, what you paid, and how long your battery lasted. Easy answers help me most.
