Forza Horizon 6: Where to Find Norikura Skyline

Hunting Down the Location

Finding the Norikura Skyline is simple enough once you know which direction to head. You will want to steer your map toward the Northwest area, right into the snowy Japanese Alps region. Look for the massive ski resort up there—the Norikura Skyline sits directly south of the ski area.

As you drive up, the cherry blossoms and urban neon fade away, replaced by sweeping alpine curves and snow-dusted guardrails. It is easily one of the most atmospheric sections of the entire map, and just cruising through it is an experience in itself.

Map Landmarks and Key Events

Once you arrive, you will quickly find out that this pass isn't just for casual Sunday drives. It is a major hub for several key activities:

  • The Ultimate Touge Experience: This stretch of tarmac serves as a premier touge race location, offering the perfect playground to test your car's handling and your own drifting skills.

  • Norikura Descent Street Race: If you are into high-stakes downhill racing, this is where the action happens. It is fast, narrow, and unforgiving.

  • Discover Japan Checklist: For the completionists out there, the skyline is one of the 26 crucial Discover Japan Photography locations. Make sure to pull over, pull out your photo mode, and snap a shot to check it off your list.

Can't Find the Race? Here is How to Unlock It

A lot of players manage to find the road itself, only to realize the iconic touge race marker is completely missing from their map. If you are staring at an empty road, don't worry—you haven't run into a bug. The event is tied to your career progression, and you just need to clear a specific milestone to open it up.

To unlock the Norikura Skyline race, you need to play through the campaign until you finish at least the first chapter of Yuki’s Story, which centers around the car mechanic shop. Yuki is actually your main opponent for this particular race. Because the event is built around your rivalry with him, the game keeps the race locked down until you have officially cleared his introductory storyline.
